42. Reports » Servers
Click on a server name anywhere in the interface to open a tab with server-specific details. This tab has sub-tabs along the bottom, each sharing these common toolbar fields:
● Servers – Select the servers of interest, or All. Administrators may limit which servers guest accounts can access● Time Range – Choose a predefined period or Custom… to specify an exact interval
Two exceptions: the Server Commands sub-tab has no Time Range selector, and Console Events has no Servers selector.
42.1. Console / Server Dashboard
This sub-tab allows you to gather relevant server-related data.
Dashboard configuration here is global (not tied to one specific server), so any changes also appear on other server dashboards. For details on basic dashboard operation, see Reports » Dashboards.
42.2. Console & Server Graphs
Server Graphs allows you to generate various histograms for the selected server(s):
● Data Units – Select one or more data units:• Most Used – Frequently used metrics• System Load – Linux kernel load average over a 5-minute period• Free RAM – Available RAM (swap excluded)• Database/Graphs/Graphs SSD/Flow Collector/Packet Dumps Disk - Free Space – Free disk space for each file-system path• Uptime – OS uptime• CPU% system/userspace/niced/idle/iowait – CPU resources used by system code, userspace processes, niced (priority) tasks, the idle loop, and I/O waiting• Number of processes – Total processes running• Hardware/Software CPU Interrupts – Interrupts triggered by hardware/software events• Context Switches – Times the OS switches tasks, indicating multi-tasking overhead• Total RAM – Total RAM installed on the server• Packet Sensors / Flow Sensors / SNMP Sensors / Sensor Clusters / Filters Running – Number of running instances of each component type• Clock Delta – Time difference between the server and the Console server in seconds. If non-zero, run ntpd on all servers to keep clocks synced• Database/Graphs/Graphs SSD/Packet Dumps/Flow Collector Disk - Total – Partition size for each path• Database/Graphs/Graphs SSD/Packet Dumps/Flow Collector Disk - Free Inodes – Free inodes on partitions storing these paths• Database/Graphs/Packet Dumps/Flow Collector Disk - Ops/s – Reads/writes per second on those partitions• Database/Graphs/Packet Dumps/Flow Collector Disk - Bytes/s – Throughput in bytes/s on those partitions• Database Connections – Number of open database connections• Database Size – Size of the database• Server Interfaces - Packets/s / Bits/s / Errors / Dropped – Stats for network interfaces defined in Configuration » Servers● Size – Choose a preset dimension or enter a custom size as “<X> x <Y>” where <X> and <Y> are the horizontal/vertical pixel counts● Title – Enter your own text as the title, or select one of these options:• Auto – Automatically generated title• None – No title● Legend – Select how detailed the legend should be: None, Brief, or Full● Consolidation – Graph consolidation reduces data resolution by averaging, minimizing, or maximizing values over fixed time intervals, optimizing visualization while maintaining overall trends:• Maximum – Shows peak spikes• Average – Displays average values• Minimum – Focuses on lower values● Grouping• Servers – Generates a single graph for all selected servers• Server Interfaces – Generates a single graph for the network interfaces of the chosen servers● Stacking• Servers – Displays the summed, stacked values for multiple selected servers
The Database Disk, Graphs Disk, Graphs SSD Disk, Database Connections, and Database Size data units are available only when viewing the Console server.
42.3. Console Events
Visible only when viewing the Console tab. Displays events generated by the Console.
42.4. Server Events
Shows events generated by the selected server(s). The top bar provides a Row Filtering Expression search field, a Minimum Severity selector, and an Export panel. The grid lists the Severity, Server, Module, Event, and Date of each event; click the [+] button in the first column for details.
